libjs-excanvas software package provides HTML5 Canvas for Internet Explorer, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-excanvas
libjs-excanvas is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-excanvas package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-excanvas *
You will get with libjs-excanvas package name, version, architecture and description in a table
